Application Sales Engineer

A key role in assisting the sales team, the Sales Support Specialist prepares logistics robot cells sales proposals for the Robotics division in Sant Quirze del Vallès (Barcelona), Spain. In this role, your strong technical and market knowledge will assist you in providing customers with efficient and effective solutions.

Your responsibilities

• Preparing formal technical and commercial offers with clear contract terms.
• Aiding sales colleagues in specifying optimal, cost-effective solutions to meet customers’ needs.
• Providing assistance and input in meetings, product presentations and negotiations.
• Answering technical queries from engineering teams and delivering vital information to risk reviews.
• Studying customers’ needs and competitors’ offerings through market intelligence and insight from sales teams.

Your background

• Minimum 2 years of experience in intralogistics automation or in robot automation, working as sales support specialist, application engineer, project manager or similar with automation projects in the consumer segments, general manufacturing or automotive industries.
• Valuable Knowledge of design (AutoCAD), simulation and CRM (Salesforce) platforms.
• Self-motivation, curiosity and a desire to learn about new technologies.
• A collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills.
• An industrial engineering, mechanical engineering or electrical engineering degree.
• English and Spanish full business competence (B2/C1).
