    Position summary

    will coordinate sales activities, monitor current projects, and manage the resolution of specific customer problems. You will also Work with indirect channels, as well as directly to End Users in the north and south of Ireland, to promote ABB Robotics products and solutions to a range of industries. The work model for the role is: Home based with customer travel and but with an office within the ABB facility in Dundalk. You will be mainly accountable for: • Defining and implementing the Ireland sales strategy and budget to a defined list of customers, as well as developing new customers. Ensuring a regular contact with existing and new customers. • Accountable for all ABB Robotics sales in Ireland, including supporting service sales whilst supporting one of ABB Ireland premium Value providers. • Understanding the key business drivers, including significant and emerging business risks of the relevant customer's business and environment, translating them into the corresponding impacts and opportunities for ABB. • Defining sales targets, giving input on market price developments monitoring competitors' activity with the account and ensuring that appropriate response strategies are implemented. • Identifies and evaluates new potential systems integrators and OEMs, working together with the Channel Manager and in coordination with the Sales management team. Maintain and grow the existing geographical customers.
    Qualifications for the role

    • Strong sales experience.
    • Technical background in Robotics/Automation.
    • Demonstrable experience in developing sales strategies and business plans.
    • A solution-oriented approach, creativity and the ability to work as a part of a team
    • Customer focused with excellent communication skills.
    • Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and working well under pressure.
    • Valid driving license in Ireland.
