    In this position, you will provide general administrative help and d secretarial assistance to the Low Voltage switchgear systems ANSI (American National Standards Institute​), Electrification Distribution Solutions (ELDS). You will act as a point of contact for enquiries, providing solutions for those within your scope and escalating those that require it. You will be responsible to provide administrative services and/or secretarial assistance at Group/Global or any Business level.

    Your responsibilities

    • Administrative support: Performs complex administrative activities and takes responsibility for delivering specific department processes/programs
    • Documentation: Researches, compiles, verifies and analyzes information and issues special reports, presentations, organization charts, correspondence, etc
    • Communication: Responsible for different communication tasks within the area of responsibility, ensuring knowledge and information is shared and keeping others up to date
    • Processes: Implements ABB processes and initiates continuous improvement of administrative processes and procedures to maximize efficiency and effectiveness
    • Confidential support: Acts as point of contact for internal/external enquiries by phone and email, initiates action and makes judgments about urgency of issues
    • Provides confidential support to individual executives and/or management team members
    • Supervision: Coaches, and may have solid line manager responsibility for more junior administration staff
    • Events: Arranges business critical internal/external events, including for example travel arrangements, itineraries, accommodation, conference registration, visiting speakers etc
    • Financial support: Provides financial support on a department/project level, monitoring budget spend, raising and approving requisitions/invoices, etc

    Your background

    • Diploma, degree in communication/humanistic or relevant experience in admin role and minimum 2 years works of experience
    • Good communication, customer oriented personality, like to interact with people
    • Proficient with PPT and Office
    • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
