    Associate Commissioning Engineer

    You will be working as Associate Commissioning Engineer and will be a part of Process Automation Business Area for Energy Industries Division based in Bangalore, India. You will be reporting to Senior Engineering Manager. In this role you will be primarily responsible for executing commissioning activities under the supervision of Senior Commissioning Engineer in all types of projects sizes and complexities, efficiently, cost-effectively and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements

    Your responsibilities

    • Providing technical support for testing, installation and commissioning activities
    • Supporting Contract Managers in issuing claims (new/change in scope of work, cost impact, time impact, risk quantifications etc.) and providing cost effective quality solutions as per customer requirement and delivers within budget and contract
    • Providing support and technical advice to colleagues and assigning tasks for and directs engineers, technicians, and administrative staff
    • Capable of carrying out the Project engineering Schemes, Line diagrams, graphic design, preparation of FAT, SAT related to the project
    • Capable of performing the tasks by following the approved Engineering process documents
    • Assisting customers on technical issues, interacts with official contacts, contractors and other staff within your scope of deliverables
    • Involving in travelling to customer place for site erection and commissioning activities

    Your background

    • Degree in B.E/ B. Tech in in Electronics and/or Electrical or Instrumentation or Diploma
    • Minimum 2-4 years experience in Automation world either through engineering, commissioning, testing of automation systems/ Control systems
    • Should have sound knowledge and hands on experience on various field bus protocols (like Profibus, Modbus TCP/Ip, Profinet, IEC, Foundation field bus, etc.)
    • Working experience in Power plants (Thermal or Hydro)
    • Working experience of closed loop control system for Power Plant applications & experience in ABB DCS 800xA, S plus is added advantage
