    Associate Field Service Engineer

    As an Associate Field Service Engineer for Process Automation Business Area in Shanghai, China, you will be responsible for achievement of qualitative service works assigned by supervisor.

    This position reports to

    Service Segment Manager

    Your responsibilities

    • Reporting project manager about site situation and service process according
    • Keeping in line with ABB Marine operation and safety principle issued by top management
    • Communicating with clients daily with ABB service plan to follow up the schedule
    • Working closely in cooperation with Project manager
    • Following all service procedure strictly to ensure commissioning quality
    • Being responsible for Site training performed for clients
    • Reporting line manager about service status and safety issues
    • Following site office principle and site management
    • Handing over final documents and backup to project engineer after service close-out
    • Being responsible for daily administration and document control according to ABB site office regulation

    Your background

    • At least 5 years’ technical management experience
    • Experience in Power Plant and Drive and PLC relevant operation and commissioning at site or among marine area
    • Good communication skills and teamwork spirit
    • A Bachelor diploma or above, major in Electric Power automation or Mechanical and Electrical Integration or marine engineering
    • Willing to travel frequently (200days / year)
    • Strong sense of responsibility and patient personality
    • Must be proactive and initiative, customer oriented
    • Good in English both oral and written
    • Service experience or products management to Drive and control& Switchgear, ABB product experience is preferred
    • Marine mechanical experience is preferred
