    Associate Project Engineer

    You will be working as Associate Project Engineer and will be part of Process Automation Business Area for Energy Industries Division based out at Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Engineering Manager. You will be primarily responsible for completing assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects, cost-effectively and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards and safety requirements.

    Your responsibilities

    • Making technical recommendations in design, testing, installation and commissioning phases of projects, enhancing customer satisfaction by providing excellent service in the field of RTU, PLC, SCADA and Safety systems
    • Maintaining a strong network of engineering professionals, sharing engineering best practice across different projects and disciplines to support the development of other colleagues
    • Developing, selecting and applying standard techniques, procedures and tools. Reporting inefficiencies and identifying improvement opportunities
    • Interacting with the customer for seeking engineering approvals in a project
    • Interacting with vendors for evaluating their technical offers & support SCM during finalization of vendors
    • Coordinating with service contractor engineers while executing the project, for meeting the required scope in target period

    Your background

    • BE/B.Tech in Electronics / Instrumentation specialization
    • Minimum 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience in design, engineering, development and commissioning
    • Experience in engineering and commissioning of RTU, SCADA, Modbus and DNP3
    • Experience in product pipeline automation / city gas distribution / oil & gas / petrochemical plant projects
    • Knowledge of networking and configurations of firewalls, router / switches etc. would be an added advantage
    • Willing to travel (80% in a year)
