    Automation engineer

    As an Automation engineer for Motion Business Area in Beijing, China, you will be responsible for leading new automation cell or whole line project planning, confirm solution with system integrator and put forward the contract sign, commissioning, and final acceptance.

    This position reports to

    Production Engineering Specialist

    Your responsibilities

    • Solving mechanical, electrical and systematic malfunction of automation system and equipment to make sure the production line in stable operation
    • Being responsible for hardware modification, software upgrading and bug fixing of automation system and equipment
    • Modifying relative PLC program and continuously improve it when production process changes
    • Being responsible for organizing spare parts selection, purchasing and management of automation system and equipment
    • Arranging automation system and equipment related operating demonstration, basic knowledge and practical operation training
    • Supporting MES implementation engineer with automation system and equipment related integration
    • Documenting project acceptance report for automation system and equipment

    Your background

    • A degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics and other related majors
    • More than 3 years’ experience with relevant automation system integration, independent project leading experience is preferred
    • Familiar with PLC programming of Siemens, Omron, ABB or other brands
    • Familiar with robotic simulation system and teaching pendant operation. Experience in debugging and using ABB robots is preferred.
    • Familiar with vision system hardware and software, have application experience in image capturing and processing
    • Familiar with the Likong or C# configuration software
    • Good communication and collaboration skills
