    Automation Engineer (Robotics)

    Your responsibilities

    • Programming of automation robotics system, tools and equipment,
    • Making the reachability studies of tools and robots in ABB 3D RobotStudio software, virtual commissioning
    • Leading on-site commissioning and verifying virtual simulations,
    • Making automation software design. Preparing documentation for ABB standards, Developing R&D projects and new robotic cells,
    • Represent ABB during site visits, communicating at all levels to ensure customer satisfaction,
    • Assist salespeople during customer visits when preparing the projects,
    • Assist bid and proposal teams,
    • Preparing automation software for the robotics system.

    Your background

    • University degree in Engineering degree, (Mechatronics, Electric/Electronics, Control, and Automation)
    • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in automation/robotics, welding
    • Min. 2 years experience in Siemens simatic software, codesys, B&R automation studio knowledge, motion control
    • Min. 2 years experience in C# , and SQL knowledge,
    • Experience of the machine safety, and ISO standards,
    • Knowledge of industrial robot operations and servo systems, including electrical and software interfaces,
    • Preferably have process knowledge in one or more disciplines such as welding, material handling, paint, press automation, picking/packing/palletizing, camera applications, etc. is a plus,
    • Preferably have a working knowledge of control systems, I/O, PLC and bus communication for building motion control,
    • Experience in ABB Robots is a definite plus, Experience in offline robot programming and simulation packages (RobotStudio) is a plus,
    • Advanced level of English skills,
    • The Turkish language is a must,
    • Innovative, team player and highly motivated profile with strong interpersonal skills,
    • No limitation for travel and working in customer site
