We are looking for a candidate for the position of Bid Specialist for Mechanical Systems in the European Operations Centre in Pilsen. In this position you will work on interesting projects, be responsible for complex bidding and work with mechanical systems. Your responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely development of bid documents in coordination with relevant stakeholders based on Requests for Quotations (RFQs)
• Manage the bidding process in terms of technical, product and financial aspects
• Creating and managing bid documents such as scope of supply, costing, technical specifications, outline diagrams, etc.
• Collaboration with other teams within ABB - Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, etc.
• Contributing to effective and positive customer relationships throughout the sales process
• Obtaining feedback from the selection process and identifying opportunities for improvement

Your background

• You have a technical degree ideally in Mechanical Engineering
• You have experience of the tendering process ideally in heavy industry (paper, petroleum, chemical)
• You are familiar with technical documentation
• You are proficient with MS Office tools
• You don't mind working independently and can plan your work
• You are interested in learning new things
• You have a responsible approach to work and a sense of diligence
• You are communicative (you will communicate with customers)
• You are fluent in English (B1 level and above)
• Knowledge of the French language is an advantage
• Experience with the ABB product portfolio is an advantage
