ABB E-mobility is seeking a Business Leader for Home & Destination EV Charging with accountability for all Commercial (Sales and Marketing) activities and Portfolio Management in the North America Region. This position is a remote-based opportunity in the continental U.S. with preferred location being in the Los Angeles and Orange County, CA area

Your responsibilities

• Accountable for executing the product portfolio, commercial and business development growth strategy and P&L management within the North American market for the Home & Destination business line
• Drive the achievement of business performance targets aligned with-mobility’s global corporate and business line targets by regular oversight of the region’s profitable growth and definition of improvement actions as required
• Evaluate market opportunities and recommends and implements appropriate activities in line with the business strategy
• Continuously develop and manage the products, solutions, systems and service portfolio to achieve and secure leadership in market share
• Contribute to the production oversight and execution of high-quality home destination charging products, services and processes
• Monitor quality metrics and identify opportunities for improvement in local execution
• Ensure the execution of projects according to agreed upon targets in terms of schedule, quality, financial results and customer satisfaction and provide oversight to product portfolio R&D initiatives
• Build and nurture strategic partner relationships with new and existing customers to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction

Your background

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related is required, with 10-15 years of experience as a regional strategic business unit leader within the Automotive (EV), Utility, Real Estate, Building Automation, IoT or related industries; MBA preferred
• Must have experience developing and implementing a commercial strategy for a product portfolio, with direct P&L accountability
• Strong team leadership with the ability to attract and motivate talented professionals is required
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 30% is required
• Salary range: 175K – 200K base salary with 45% annual bonus
• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
