As a Material Planner, you will play a vital role in the procurement and logistics team in Matamoros, México. You will be performing planning, ordering & expediting by ensuring that all purchasing activities are align with corporate policies and procedures.

Planning & Fulfillment Manager

Your responsibilities

• Purchasing materials according to required technical specifications, price, delivery schedule and terms.
• Initiating purchase orders according to the purchase requisitions, Planned orders and in alignment with standard procedures.
• Overseeing supplier performance (on-time delivery, quality, lead time) and resolving performance issues.
• Collaborates with sourcing team for obtaining the best possible supplier performance in terms of supplier on time-deliver, MOQ, quality, lead-time and expedites.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Manages MRP (Material resource planning) exceptions messages daily.

Your background

• Bachelor’s degree from and accredited university or college.
• 3 years of experience in similar position.
• Previous Experience in Planning, Scheduling & Customer Service Roles.
• SAP (desirable).
• Advanced English.
• Strong oral and written communication.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
