Your responsibilities

• Implement effective sourcing strategies in line with local and global business and category strategies.
• Ensure suppliers have the capability and capacity to meet current and future business requirements.
• Supplier selection and performance: TCO Savings, Payment terms, OTD, Quality, lead time, budget target settings, and follow up for continuous improvement.
• Provide and maintain standard terms in purchase contracts/terms and conditions in line with Company directives and guidelines.
• Design and implement cost-out programs and/or processes to reach annual savings and operational cost reduction targets.

Your background

• A Bachelor degree with minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience or Associate degree with minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience or High School Diploma/GED and minimum 9 years of relevant professional experience required
• Travel up to 10% required
• Experience with manufacturing process, especially sheet metal and technical product aptitude is highly preferred
• Proficiency with software applications such ERP system (SAP highly preferred) and s MS-Office Suite required
• Strong data analytics with Continuous Improvement mindset, demonstrated negotiation skills in a multicultural, global business environment preferred, additionally collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills required
• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
