    As a Category Specialist, you will be responsible for Supplier performance: Savings, EM, Payment terms, OTD, Quality, lead time budget target settings and KPIs monthly follow up / continues improvement. Implement close the gap actions when needed for Motion Business Area in Beijing, China. Reporting to the Category Manager, you will be responsible to develop should cost and cost structure models at own area to get better understanding.

    Your responsibilities

    • Being responsible to collect Supplier volume RFQs and negotiate suppliers cost reductions.
    • Being responsible of daily support for the R&D projects next generation products development at own suppliers’ area.
    • Being responsible of support for EMS and component localization and 2nd source development.
    • Being a supportive Team member of Global Category team.
    • Co-operating among different function and location.

    Your background

    • At least 5 years of working experience in sourcing.
    • Basic financial knowledge, understanding the risk management, expert in supply chain management.
    • Familiar with EMS and electronic component.
    • A Msc or Bsc degree in electronics or related fields in engineering.
    • Must be fluent in both Chinese and English language (both speaking and writing).
    • Strategic thinking, cooperative, analytical.
