As the point of contact for customers and dealers from different countries, you will act as an expert advisor, always keeping the customer's needs in mind. On the one hand you rely on technical know-how, but on the other hand you also need a certain tact in dealing with customers. Your responsibilities

• Acceptance of customer inquiries in German and English
• Responsibility for the complete order processing from preparation and handling of quotations to invoicing in the spare parts and export business
• Follow-up of orders including monitoring of deadlines and tracking of receivables
• Carrying out price research and calculations according to specifications as well as performing export controls
• Cooperation with international plants, suppliers as well as ABB offices
• Maintain customer contact/customer service both written and verbal
• Expert contact person for customers and their optimal advice regarding commercial issues as well as handling of complaints

Your background

• Successfully completed commercial training as well as first relevant professional experience
• Technical understanding and ideally knowledge of the ABB process automation product portfolio
• Ability to recognize correlations in order to be able to specify the needs of customer inquiries
• Diligence and accuracy, especially with regard to regulations and laws
• Ability to act independently and prioritize
• Intercultural competence and ideally experience in international cooperation
• Fluent written and spoken German and good English
• Basic knowledge of SAP SD and Salesforce desirable
