Commissioning Engineer

Your responsibilities

• Understanding logic and I or O list preparation, software development, simulation testing and FAT
• Checking hardware (Panels, Computer peripherals etc.), inspection or supervision of power, control, screened, communication, special cable laying, tightness checking of wiring and components inside panels (IO, CPU and server)
• Establishing and troubleshooting Profibus, Ethernet, Modbus and FO networks as per the system architecture drawing
• Testing or simulation of developed software along with customer, testing between field to IO panel and from IO panel to DCS or Operator station
• Checking and recording the CPU loading for each controller (with scan time and cyclic time) and PG Test as per the contract with respect to project
• Capturing customer complaints and timely solution, updating reusable solutions, working around, problems handled into database, following safety norms and ensuring safe working environment

Your background

• Diploma or B. Tech or https://B.E in Electronics and Communication or Electrical and Electronics or Instrumentation Engineering
• Minimum 3 to 4 years of relevant work experience in automation solutions by similar suppliers in cement, primary metals and material handling industry
• Knowledge of DCS or PLC HW or SW components, IT or Network or peripherals like UPS, printer, PC’s, server components of DCS system
• Knowledge in application programming and HMI development or modifications for PLC or DCS systems and knowledge on ABB automation systems like 800xA, 800M and compact products
