    Commissioning Specialist - FCL / SUE / SLT (m/f/d)

    In this position, you will provide technical support for Short Circuit Current Limiters (FCL), Quick Changeover Equipment (SUE) and Station Control Technologies (SLT) at the Solution Center, Ratingen for customers worldwide. You will deliver excellent professional service both remotely and on-site. Your hands-on experience and knowledge of customer needs will help you build strong customer relationships. You will also actively identify and develop new business opportunities.

    Head of Project Management

    Your responsibilities

    • You will commission short-circuit current limiters, fast-changeover devices and substation control systems at the customer's site and support commissioning remotely.
    • You troubleshoot potential equipment failures, proactively take corrective/preventive action, and engage internal partners.
    • You will coordinate logistics of resources and spare parts for on-site service calls.
    • You will train additional commissioning engineers and take action to ensure high quality service to our customers.
    • You submit proposals within the company for product and process improvements related to operations and customer service.

    Your background

    • Degree in electrical engineering or training in an electrical engineering profession
    • Professional experience in the field of medium-voltage technology / activity as commissioning engineer or quality inspector for medium-voltage switchgear and station control systems
    • Sound knowledge of and practical experience in service, maintenance, commissioning and repair of medium-voltage switchgear/products and protection/control technology
    • Knowledge of PCM600 and IEC 61850 would be advantageous
    • Willingness to travel worldwide (50%)
    • A team player with a solution-oriented approach and very good written and verbal communication skills
    • Confident communication in German and English
