    Continuous Improvement Senior Specialist

    You will be working as Senior Continuous Improvement Specialist role, reporting to the Quality and Continuous Improvement Lead and will be based in Bangalore. In this role, you will be responsible to establish and maintain a continuous improvement (CI) culture in ABB focusing on Customer & Quality by deploying a set of CI competencies, utilizing Lean Six Sigma (L6S) as the CI methodology, Project Management approach and creating transparency to monitor progress, within the AMEA region of HR Operations. The role would include supporting Regional and Global HR Leadership team, with driving regional and global projects and initiatives.

    Your responsibilities

    • Executing local approach to continuous improvement and strategy deployment via L6S. Facilitating best practice sharing within the AMEA and NAM region. Working with cross functional teams to execute the strategy and escalate as necessary to remove roadblocks
    • Supporting the operational teams in the region to identify process improvement ideas and guide through execution
    • Leading and facilitating process improvement workshops to generate ideas and solutions working together with stakeholders from the operations in the Hub and Front Offices
    • Providing organization-wide visibility of the current portfolio of continuous improvement efforts; track via metrics/KPIs progress and value from these efforts to help decision makers allocate resources and recognize success, with special focus on operational cost reduction
    • Working effectively with other CI team members to standardize processes and develop best practices. Supporting on the identification and elimination of unnecessary complexity within business processes and of better ways of working
    • Taking ownership and drives change initiatives from improvement identification through to project delivery Leads the assigned projects and initiatives, as per the HR Ops Roadmap, ensuring the objectives are met, in the given timeline and budget
    • Training and supporting the HR Operations AMEA employees about specific continuous improvement tools and methodologies

    Your background

    • Bachelor’s degree in any stream
    • Minimum 8 – 10 years of experience in Quality/Project management roles in a global organization
    • Project management certification (Optional). GB Certified
    • Managing multiple demands on time and work with cross-functional teams
    • Should have collaborative, solutions-oriented approach, and strong analytical skills
    • Should have an ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, high transaction team environment
