We are looking for an R&D Senior Engineer for System Drives experienced in Matlab/Simulink programming to help us maintain a #1 position as a global drives player. As a member of the Research and Development (R&D) for System Drives team based in Krakow, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and validation of control systems for high-power drives and the most demanding applications worldwide. This position reports to
R&D Team Leader
Your responsibilities
- Control software development for Power Electronics based applications
- Development of testing environment for Power Electronics based application
- Hardware-in-the-Loop simulations of power electronics converters
- Preparation of software packages and technical documentation
- Analysis of field cases and finding solutions
- Cooperation with different local and global engineering teams
- Occasional international travel to our R&D center, production sites and customers
Your background
- Master’s degree in a field of Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics and Control Engineering, Automatics and Robotics, or a related field
- Understanding of electrical circuit and control theory
- Experience in Matlab/Simulink (Model Based Programming)
- Knowledge of Hardware-in-the-Loop testing
- Over 5 years of experience in R&D
- Experience in Python or C++ is an advantage
- Good written and spoken English
