You will be a vital member of the factory controlling team. Reporting to the Factory Controller Minden/Plovdiv, you will provide key support to the business, ensuring accurate tracking and processing of all transactions. Your responsibilities

• Establishing and overseeing the processes and tools necessary to obtain transparent and reliable financial data and business information, ensuring high quality information in line with defined standards and financial closing schedules
• Translating business strategy into plans and establishing measurable targets, evaluating the financial implications of various strategic decisions, identifying risks and recommending actions
• Performing financial analysis, reporting to business managers and making suggestions to improve performance, where appropriate
• Ensuring compliance with internal guidelines/procedures and external regulatory requirements
• Ensuring timely and efficient communication with relevant local/global Controllers, the Accounting Center and other internal customers to identify and discuss issues, suggestions for improvement of operations, work quality and efficiency

Your background

• A degree in business administration, focused on accounting or finance
• Min. 3 years of experience in finance and controlling, working as factory controller at a manufacturing site within a global organization
• Experience with computerized accounting systems and financial reporting software, including SAP (FI, CO, PS, MM), experience in Power BI or data automation is a plus
• A collaborative, flexible, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
• Outstanding attention to detail, accuracy and the ability to multitask
• Fluency in German and English
