Customer Quality Specialist

In this role, you will be deploying and facilitating the quality culture in Electrification Smart Power (ELSP). You will be responsible for ensuring and controlling quality to exceed customer expectations while ensuring sustainable operations, representing the customer’s voice within local teams and providing customer experience feedback and input.

Your responsibilities

• Manage incoming Return Material Authorization’s (RMA), documenting RMA numbers and receipt.
• Update Masterfile and Salesforce cases with status changes.
• Perform Goods movements in SAP.
• Challenge the teams with customer experience feedback and input to decisions.
• Run Monthly Metrics reports and present them in an easy-to-read manner.
• Support and maintain the Quality Management System of the local unit.
• All aspects of job managed in line with ABB Group/Division/Business Unit guidance.

Your background

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Previous experience in Electrical product manufacturing units or Quality preferred.
• The ideal candidate should have at least a basic knowledge of 2 of the following principles and should be able to elaborate the concepts: lean manufacturing, 5S, 8D reports, PPAP (Production Part Approval Process).
• Green belt (lean six sigma) certification a plus.
• Good knowledge of the MS office package.
• Great communication skills and diplomacy to deal with our customers.
• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
