    Customer Quality Specialist - Temporary

    We are looking for a Customer Quality Specialist to join our E-mobility division located in San Giovanni Valdarno (AR). In this role you will be part of the Quality front end team facing final customer and supporting the global organization on the post sales quality processes and you will be the contact point for key customer on quality topics.

    Quality Control Manager

    Your responsibilities

    • Define troubleshooting procedure for field failures and field returns based on product requirements. Perform failure analysis on returned parts, sub assembly and full systems.
    • Apply problem solving methodology and work closely with other business functions to accomplish root cause investigation (FRACAS).
    • Define and implement test procedure and test setup to validate the failure mode and validate root cause identification.
    • Propose and validate corrective and preventive actions in collaboration with other business functions.
    • Define and map the failure modes across the installed base, make pareto analysis and follow up on corrective action execution.
    • Develop data analytics to identify failure patterns in the network, monitor asset status and support preventive maintenance.
    • Provide input for new products development and new product requirements to improve customer satisfaction.
    • Report in an accurate way required metrics and KPI related to field failure, failure analysis and CAPA status, MTBF MTTR.
    • Be active part on the quality improvement process reporting lesson learnt and OPL.
    • Support the local units on customer communication providing guidance and technical reporting.

    Your background

    • Bachelor’s degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering.
    • Experience in working in Electronic or Electric company in engineering, manufacturing, and/or quality role is a plus. Power electronics preferred.
    • Knowledge of basic Lean Six Sigma tools, FMEA (Failure Modes & Effects Analysis) and FMECA (Failure Modes, Effects, & Criticality Analysis).
    • Working experience with data-driven analytical methodologies for industrial and quality applications: Statistical Process Control [SPC], Process Capability (Cp, CpK), and/or Process Performance (Pp, PpK) Analysis.
    • Familiarity with ISO-9001 standards is preferred; expertise in QS-9000/ISO TS 16949/IATF 16949 will also be considered.
    • Strong knowledge of components technology and manufacturing processes. Knowledge of quality control processes and methodologies.
    • Good communication skills (written & verbal) in English.
    • Problem solving attitude, ability to communicate effectively with internal teams, customers and supplier (this may be necessary to negotiate changes and influence decisions).
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, experience with power electronic circuits and digital boards. Proven experience working with failure analysis, test engineering, component quality and reliability and /or product reliability is a plus.
