    Customer Support Specialist, Critical Power

    As the Customer Support Specialist, Critical Power, you will be responsible for supporting large direct customers of the US Critical Power business. You will also provide direction and assistance to internal and external channel work groups involved with direct customer opportunities and projects.

    Sales Manager

    Your responsibilities

    • Support Direct Accounts outside sales team with technical, quotation, account management, and general communication
    • Assist with planning and implementing strategies to maximize customer satisfaction
    • Create and manage pricing for strategic partners of direct accounts
    • Collaborate with customer service representatives for proper invoicing through SAP system, including the reconciliation of material prices to values indicated on a customer purchase order
    • Develop trust with customers to be the first escalation point when they need assistance
    • Generate cross-selling leads and make it easier to do business with ABB
    • Identify and track upcoming sales opportunities
    • Conduct trainings on the use of ABB commercial software
    • Coordinate and lead CD&E reviews with customer and internal teams
    • Support Critical Power team in meeting or exceeding assigned measurements (orders, price, overdue receivables)
    • Understand market pricing and utilize to successfully close opportunities
    • Provide customer feedback, competitive intelligence and hit-rate information to business and sales leadership
    • Track opportunities, wins and losses in Customer Response Management (CRM) system;
    • Participate in industry events to build relationships

    Your background

    • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college (OR a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Sales)
    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or STEM related field
    • Experience processing complex contracts
    • Strong technical application, take-off, and proposal development skills
    • Customer-focused mindset with proven ability to respond quickly to customer needs
    • Strong coordination and influencing skills
    • Demonstrated knowledge of electrical industry and ABB products
    • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
    • Experience working with contractors & channel partners
    • Knowledge of customer financial drivers / needs
    • Six Sigma or equivalent Quality training
    • Ability to utilize analytical software and sales tools
    • Strong oral, written communication skills and presentation skills
    • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
