You will be working as Data Analytic Functional Analyst and reporting to Global IS Domain Service Manager for electrification business area, IS Data Analytics division based in Bangalore, India. You will be responsible for translating business requirements to develop functional specifications and wireframe for analytics solutions. Identifying and sharpening the business need, providing knowledge of business processes, and help to identify and to understand relevant data and define how results should be evaluated
Your responsibilities
- Understanding and analyzing drivers of financial performance and KPIs with finance professionals and controllers, facilitate business requirements gathering discussions/ workshops
- Supporting the business partner in the qualification of the business request for assigned services
- Creating detailed user stories that is well understood both by clients and technical/development team, Creating detailed functional specification document
- Collaborating with project managers, technical teams, developers to ensure clear understanding and translation of business requirements
- Pre-qualifying and prioritizing change requests, escalating changes that should be projected to the project manager & team
- Identifying potential threats and informing all concerned parties in a timely manner, support with domain & business process knowledge
- Supporting projects with competence in SAP FICO module along with knowledge of sales and distribution and production planning to understand end-to-end business process
- Providing guidance or support to development teams, guiding task completion, sharing expert knowledge and advice without carrying line responsibility
Your background
- Bachelors degree in Finance
- Minimum 3 years of strong experience in Finance and Controlling with hands on experience in SAP FICO module
- Basic Knowledge of Sales & Distribution, Production planning, Projects, Material master modules in SAP
- Strong analytical skills and basic SQL knowledge is desirable
- Ability to work on own initiative and as a team player, Good organizational skills with cultural awareness and sensitivity
