Design and deploy strategies, best practices and solutions for Planning & Fulfillment (P&F). Develop Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), Inventory, Resource Management and short-term planning processes within systems. Drive planning activities to improve customer on time delivery, lead time and inventory reduction. Measure, report and drive improvement of demand planning accuracy.

    Your responsibilities

    • Develop effective forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns
    • Support management with risk assessments and mitigation activities
    • Identify key root causes for non-performance and drives improvement initiatives
    • Propose and implement solutions to improve/optimize manufacturing processes
    • Identifies opportunities where P&F can contribute value to other functions and look for processes within other functions that can improve the P&F performance
    • Successfully communicate forecast and inventory estimations to management
    • Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies
    • Support IT department in system logic assessment and user demand validation
    • Perform standard and ad hoc detailed analyses for P&F metrics (inventory, on-time delivery, lead-time, forecast accuracy, resource utilization)
    • Establishes and shares best practices for operations planning inventory management and resource management
    • Coaches and trains local units to maximize system utilization

    Your background

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Operations Management, B.Comm or equivalent
    • Experience in using the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, ideally under the AS400 platform, SAP knowledge is an asset
    • Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
    • Have a collaborative, solution-oriented attitude and strong communication and analytical skills
    • Be bilingual, both spoken and written (French and English)
    • Be comfortable learning new systems
    • Knowledge of KBM, LX and SAP is an asset
