You will be working as Designer, reporting to Engineering Manager for Electrification business area, Distribution Solutions division based in Nashik, India. You will be responsible for creating and modifying the standard designs of equipment, systems, or installations, including standard specifications for manufacturing, fabrication or construction for assignments classified as low to medium complexity by applying standard design concepts.

Your responsibilities

• Designing of Electrical Schematics, SLD, GA and complete customer documentation including any customized drawing
• Designing reviews in close communication with marketing /customer and implementation including specific project tracking
• Preparing of Bill of Material in SAP (ERP System) and customer specific complex drawings (case to case basis)
• Conceptualizing an optimized and cost efficient solution to fulfill customer requirements
• Supporting operations team on effective/easy solutions and drive cost saving initiative
• Supporting marketing and sales team for suitable solution selection for big projects in tendering stage including price competitiveness
• Communicating with customers regularly to understand the requirements and give optimized and quick solutions to various stakeholders including front end sales
• Optimizing, standardizing, and sustaining engineering processes and ISO standards

Your background

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in in customized design, order execution/application engineering (Secondary GIS shall be preferred)
• Knowledge of relevant IEC standards related medium voltage switchgear including CT, PT, Relay
• In depth understanding of customer communication and customer handling
• Knowledge of SAP (ERP system), specifically MM&SD Module
• Excellent communication skills with an ability to influence both internally and externally
