DevOps Engineer

You will be working as DevOps Engineer and will be reporting to R&D Team Lead and will be a part of GBS located in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be primarily responsible for contributing significantly to successful project results in technology, software, product and/or solution development as well as associated IP by identifying, proposing, and implementing innovative solutions. Uses unique technical knowledge to oversee development tasks. Can act as the first line contact in R&D/SW development/Product engineering for the specific product related issues and maintenance

Your responsibilities

• Working with other developers, architects and PO’s to design product features
• Developing high quality code and write unit test cases based on the specification
• Verifying and deploying the features developed according to the process defined within the agile team
• Correcting the issues that are occurred in released product and gather the feedback
• Executing strong knowledge of Software development methodologies: Requirements Management, SW Configuration and Change Management, Agile Process
• Involving in analysis, design & coding the solution

Your background

• Degree in Bachelor of Engineering
• 6 to 8 Years exp in the role of Software Platform and Web development
• Strong knowledge of Azure Devops, SW Configuration Management, CI/CD and experience working on multiple large enterprise projects
• Hands on experience in MS Azure and able to configure self-hosted build agents and agent pool
• Sound knowledge on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), YAML and MSBuild scripts and Azure Bicep is good to have
