You will be working as DevOps Specialist and will be part of Process Automation Business Area for Process Industries division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to R&D Project Manager and will be responsible for contributing significantly to successful project results in technology, software, product or solution development as well as associated IP by identifying, proposing and implementing innovative solutions. Using unique technical knowledge to oversee development tasks. Acting as the first line contact in R&D or software development or product engineering for the specific product related issues and maintenance.

Your responsibilities

  • Ensuring the deployment, installation and commissioning phase of our products
  • Working with project managers to understand scope, features and estimate the deployment and testing effort for new projects
  • Planning deployment activities by working with local, remote teams and collaborate with development teams
  • Taking care of networking and cyber security aspects in the deployment and working with the customer on the solution implementation
  • Training the customer’s technical and operational staff. Contributing to the technical optimization of solutions. Providing technical support on production environment
  • Providing broad technical software support, training, pilots and consulting services for clients and to carry out the implementation of company software product in pulp and paper industry
  • Digital project implementation in pulp and paper industry

Your background

  • Bachelors or Masters in Engineering
  • Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience in windows and redhat enterprise linux server configuration, virtualization, kubernetes or openshift and Dockers or podmano
  • 5+ years of experience in integration and solution deployment
  • 3+ years of experience in working with customers
  • Having experience with network and firewall configuration & should be good in debugging network issues
  • Having hands-on experience in building CI/CD pipelines, integrating tools with pipelines in azure devops, data base configuration along with experience with scripting is preferred
  • Should have excellent troubleshooting skills & Good problem-solving skills
