Digital Product Manager

Working as a Digital Product Manager, you will be a key member of the ELSP Digital Team in defining Digital Products & Tools strategy, roadmap and development, marketing plans and communication plans, training and sales initiatives to increase internal awareness and to boost the adoption of one or more elements of the ELSP Digital Portfolio. In this role, you will oversee all steps in the life cycle of one or more Digital Products, System or service, including offering positioning, SW and/or HW development, launch, maintenance, pricing and profitability, after-market and digital operations activities, all at Global Level.

Your responsibilities
- Driving the profitability and life cycle of one ore more Product, System or Service of the ELSP Digital Portfolio, by defining pricing guidelines and market position.
- Ensuring ability to meet customer expectations, while tracking and analyzing the adoption and the key performance and trends of a Digital Product, System of the ELSP Digital Portfolio assigned to you.
- Working closely with ELSP Digital R&D to develop SW and/or HW feature and propose and evaluate key evolutions, upgrades, enhancements evaluating feasibility projects and roadmaps for a Digital Product, System of the ELSP Digital Portfolio assigned to you.
- Providing technical and commercial assistance to the sales team.
- Dealing with key partners such as ESCOs (Energy Service Companies) or (SI) System Integrators in order to give value to the ELSP Digital Portfolio assigned to you.
- Dealing with key Tech Partners (e.g. Microsoft, Google, AWS, Huawei … ) and Tech Experts (such as Universities / Innovation Centers) to boost the innovation level of the portion of the Portfolio assigned to you.
- Guiding, coaching and developing the skills and knowledge of the sales team.
Your background
- 5+ years of industry experience with relevant experience in Digital/SW.
- Sound knowledge of Digital Business Models and the Software Industry.
- Familiar with Agile methodologies.
- Good knowledge of the Electrical Equipment Industry.
- Capability to setup product or tools roadmap , gradually re-balance portfolio with organic and inorganic investments.
- Broad and deep understanding of Customer engagement and Service business.
- Start-up approach, corporate culture, passion for customers, quality and technology.
- Digital mindset and strong acumen to imagine “how to make it happen, how to keep it simple”.
- Be happy in the ambiguity and curious of testing out new things. Ability to team up with horizontal team, to coach and develop young resources and to discuss with senior leader within and outside ABB.
