ELDS export sales support specialist

You will be working as ELDS Export Sales Support Specialist and will be the part of Electrification business area for Distribution Solutions division based in Cairo, Egypt. In this role you will be reporting to Export Manager and will be responsible for increasing the export sales of medium/low voltage products and develop the customer relations in the assigned area, working in coordination with the export sales team member in his assigned allocated countries and territories. In cooperation with LPG’s, product managers, project management and front-end sales
Your responsibilities
- Acquiring the technical knowledge for the different products for ELDS scope, understanding of tenders with respect to scope of work, pricing schedule and material requirement for quotation purpose and collaborating with LPGM and product managers to ensure that the product gaps are addressed
- Delivering the complete technical offers with all relevant documents together with minimum material cost and maximum allowable discount within the product group approved levels
- Providing technical support for to the LSO in different countries, including guarantee schedules, compliance lists, deviation lists and the exact scope of supply
- Using different offering tools at the level of excellence for the different medium voltage products including primary, secondary switchgears and compact substation, having good knowledge on the compact secondary substation and different components such as MV RMU and transformers
- Handling offers that need special pricing, coordinating with SCM for max. possible discount besides looking for all technical solutions that can reduce the cost and satisfy the customer requirements
- Creating and documenting project bill of materials in line with business and customer requirements and providing quotation and suggestions for possible alternative explaining the benefit to the client (cost/technical/delivery)
- Committing and respecting the due dates indicated by the different customers during the offer preparation and keeping records for all offers with the related costs and discounts history and to be a part of the tendering criteria (Vision ahead)
- Coordinating with the engineering departments after order award for accurate scope of supply while doing the handover and keeping consistency with ABB rules, guidelines code of conduct, business ethics and communications
Your background
- Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering
- 0-3 years of experience as sales support for switchgears components
- Fluent spoken & written English, Arabic and French language is a privilege
- Must be able to multi-task and manage multiple tasks-Efficient time management
- Good leadership capabilities with a team-oriented attitude
- Experienced use of different Microsoft programs.
