We are looking for new colleagues for the position of "Electrical Engineer" in the ABB Europe Operations Centre in Ostrava to join our team in the marine industry. The Operations Centre is part of ABB's Process Automation division, which carries out engineering for units around the world. This position reports to

Virtual Factory Manager

Your responsibilities

• Managing the database of electronic articles
• Creating schematics of electronic devices
• Preparing technical documentation and standards for ABB products
• Preparation of project documentation according to customer requirements
• Technical support in the design of control cabinets
• Controlling production to ensure delivery of equipment according to specifications and time requirements of the project
• Preparation of type diagrams for control and monitoring systems
• Collaborating on the development of configurators for generating project documentation
• Collaborating with project team members
• Occasional work trips abroad

Your background

• High school/university degree in electrical or IT
• Advanced knowledge of MS office applications
• You can work independently
• You speak English at a level of everyday communication (level B2 and above)
• You have computer literacy
• You have a desire to learn new technologies
• You are a team player
• You have an eye for detail and are meticulous
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, EPLAN, SolidWorks is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of programming and scripting is an advantage
