This is a ETL Python Developer role, reporting to the Digital Solution Engineering Manager in Business Area - Process Automation Digital based in Bangalore, India. You will be primarily responsible for to be part of a team with experience on DevOps environment with focus on software lifecycle automation, Build and Release management and CI/CD. Position will primarily focus on engineering modern and agile environments, using various DevOps & Automation Tools to help with Application Lifecycle Management.

Your responsibilities

• Knowledge of Recent Standard Development Platforms for Web Application Development
• Extensive experience on establishing a suitable DevOps channel across the platforms
• Experience on setting up a continuous build environment to speed up software development and deployment process
• Participating in Requirement Gatherings as required
• Participating in design discussions, documentation and reviews with ABB team as needed
• Work closely with ABB project manager for deliverables and milestones identification and tracking
• Reporting to technical lead/manager on daily activities planned, expected deliverables and reports as defined for the project

Your background

• BE/B.tech education is required
• 5 to 10 years of relevant work experience is required
• DB skills working with partitioning and indexes
• Data modelling specifically Dimensional Modelling
• Expertise on conceptual, logical & physical Data Models
• Data warehousing concepts i.e., star schema, facts, dimensions
• Data pipeline (ETL tools) development Python Programming & Flask & Metadata management
• Database systems MS SQL, Oracle, Mongo DB, Realtime DB, etc.
• Conduct Data Quality Tests, Data analysis and data migration scripting
• Web Services, SAP ERP & OEM Enterprise Applications Integration Skill
• Scrum master experience in 2 Projects
