Field Service Engineer

You will be working as Field Service Engineer and will be part of Process Automation Business Area for Marine & Ports Division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to the Business Manager. You will be primarily responsible to commissioning/ maintenance/ repair of the ABB products and systems in marine & ports business unit.

Your responsibilities

• Commissioning of ABB systems and products, installation supervision, conducting start-up according to ABB procedure, performing required testing & perform acceptance testing with presence of customer and approval societies
• Maintaining the ABB systems/ products, performing maintenance on product/ system according to ABB procedure and practice & conducting training as per agreement & giving recommendations
• Servicing the ABB system/ products, warranty call-outs, on-call services, repair, fault tracing & technical support
• Submitting service reports after each task as per requirements. Completing time sheets and always keeping it up to date

Your background

• B.Tech/ B.E from a reputed university with first class in Electrical engineering
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
• Knowledge of ABB Frequency Converters, AC800/AC500 PLC & Power systems is an advantage
• Travelling must be expected mostly in India, Bangladesh & Sri Lanka
