Manage and address customer's drives service needs in a timely manner, documenting your work with required documents (FSR & JSA)
Technical lead for the on-site drive and drive system installation, commissioning, programing, configuration, maintenance, tuning, and troubleshooting
Interprets maintenance manuals, electrical schematics, and software tools related to VFD(Variable Frequency Drive) installations
Attend assigned training for safety and achieve ABB's ECAP(Electrical Competency and Authorization Program) certification
Manage tools and PPE used for field work, including calibration & exchanges
Plan and execute your learning to achieve expert certification in ABB drives
Bachelor's degree and 2 years of engineering, field service or technical support OR Associate degree and 6 years of engineering, field service or technical support required
Travel up to 60% required.
Understanding of the electrical and mechanical engineering fundamentals applicable to low voltage drive and motors for industrial applications, specifically with ACS880 and ACS580 highly preferred
Experience with remote customer support and troubleshooting highly preferred.
Candidate must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the United States
