    Field Service Technician m/f/d

    In this position, you will install, maintain (preventive, corrective, curative) ABB systems and/or robots on customer sites in accordance with standard procedures and safety guidelines. Reporting to the Service Team Leader, you will ensure the preparation of interventions (reservation of equipment, PPE, tools, documentation) as well as participate in the risk analysis of the mission.

    Your responsibilities

    • Perform maintenance, installation and commissioning as per contract requirements.
    • Follow applicable requirements and procedures (ABB and customer sites).
    • Conduct detailed inspections to determine required maintenance and possible repairs.
    • Perform troubleshooting, recommend necessary changes such as equipment replacement, purchase of spare parts to improve performance and customer satisfaction.
    • Complete with the customer all necessary documents (safety and environment, prevention plan, work authorization ...).
    • Supervise activities performed by external resources.
    • Assist in providing customer training and technical assistance by phone if necessary.
    • Establish and have the customer sign the intervention reports.

    Your background

    • At least a Bachelor's degree in Robotics (robot programming) or in Electrical Engineering.
    • At least 2 years experience in a similar position.
    • Basic knowledge in the field of Robotics and robot programming.
    • Knowledge of automation and ABB robots would be a plus.
    • Knowledge of Robot Studio, robotics software.
    • No obstacles for travel (frequent in France, possible abroad).
    • Good technical English and fluent French required.
    • Strong awareness of Health, Safety and Security rules: HSE is everyone's business.
