    Field Service Technician m/f/d

    In this position, you will perform service missions on our customers' industrial sites (paper mills, food processing) in the Northern region (from La Sarthe to La Marne) of France, in face-to-face or remote mode. Reporting to the Field Service Manager, your practical experience and knowledge of customer needs will not only help you build strong relationships with customers, but also identify new business opportunities.

    Your responsibilities

    • Provide technical assistance, commissioning and revamping services to customers, either in person or remotely
    • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance operations on equipment according to service contracts
    • Contribute to the development of customer loyalty by making technical proposals to improve operations and customer service.
    • Contribute to the development of the turnover by identifying new commercial opportunities with the customers of its geographical sector
    • Ensure on-call duty and contractual services for customers under contract
    • Respect safety rules and regulations (ABB and customer sites) as well as applicable procedures

    Your background

    • Ideally with a higher education in control and automation, electrical engineering or equivalent
    • Minimum 10 years experience in industry (maintenance...)
    • Desired knowledge in instrumentation, control and regulation, industrial computing and automation
    • English: good level required (written/oral)
    • Team work, collaboration, autonomy, commercial relationship
    • Travel in the North of France and occasionally in the East of France.
    • Strong awareness of compliance with Health, Safety and Security rules: HSE is everyone's business.
