In this position, you will provide technical support for PAPI Service, Process Automation Process Industries (PAPI), delivering superior, professional service, remotely or on site. The successful candidate must possess solid electro mechanical technical abilities as well as demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills. In addition, the successful candidate must have the ability to work with a high degree of autonomy and provide our customers with an outstanding service experience.

Your responsibilities

• Preventive maintenance, installation, corrective service and telephone / remote access support of laboratory and production process testing instruments. Service activities must be preformed within established ISO certified policies and procedures and documented accordingly

Your background

• Associates degree in Electrical Engineering related preferred; or equivalent work / military experience
• Preferably 5 years related field service support
• Network support, Computer repair and OS restoration as well as software configuration is preferred
• Experience using calibration and electronic test equipment is desired
• General software knowledge a must (Win10, MS Office365)
• Ability to work overtime as necessary to meet customer’s needs; ability to travel domestically and internationally 60% plus of the time; Acceptable driving record for the past three years; ability to pass a broad spectrum drug screen; ability to acquire a US passport; desire to participate in continuing education as necessary to meet customer’s needs
• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
