Financial Planning & Analysis Specialist

You will be working as Financial Planning & Analysis Specialist and will be reporting to FP&A CoE Hub Business Area Lead and will be a part of Bangalore, India. In this role you will be primarily responsible for providing reliable and timely analysis of financial results, budget and forecasts in order to support ABB Group management and other stakeholders at various organization levels in decision making processes

Your responsibilities

• Performing analysis of business performance versus Plan and forecast
• Performing month end closing activities and MIS reports for the respective business / functions
• Working with the other financial professionals in Divisions / Hubs / Countries / functions to understand and analyze the drivers of financial performance
• Analysis of overhead under / over absorption indicating root cause and performing cost / benefit analysis and analysis of inventories, NWC
• Preparing ad-hoc reports as per business / function’s request and supporting audits and maintaining SOPs for all activities performed
• Validating accuracy of financial data and business information and reports by performing reconciliation and review of exceptions
• Optimize own performance to increase productivity by developing automated solutions, eliminating duplications, coordinating information requirements

Your background

• Master's degree in CMA/MBA/M.com
• 2-7 year experience in Financial Planning and Analysis in manufacturing industry preferred
• Hands on experience in SAP FICO modules preferred
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Should possess good communication skills
