FP&A COE Specialist - EL

You will be working as FP&A COE Specialist – EL and will be reporting to FP&A CoE Hub Business Area Lead and will be a part of Bangalore, India. In this role you will be primarily responsible for providing reliable and timely analysis of financial results, budget and forecasts in order to support ABB Group management and other stakeholders at various organization levels in decision making processes

Your responsibilities

• Performing analysis of business performance versus budget and forecast and benchmarking of key performance indicators with external and internal peers
• Performing closing activities and MIS reports for the respective business / functions
• Working with the other financial professionals in Divisions / Hubs / Countries / Functions to understand and analyze the drivers of financial performance and identify trends
• Preparing and analyzing product / customer profitability & performing Capital investment evaluation using NPV / IRR techniques
• Preparing allocation cycles and calculation of Labour hour rates and overhead absorption rate for different business scenarios & performing cost / benefit analysis and analysis of inventories, NWC
• Supporting preparation of relevant organization financial reporting, business planning & forecasting & also supporting forex valuations, hedging, audits & Group on special projects
• Optimize own performance to increase productivity by developing automated solutions, eliminating duplications, coordinating information requirements
• Maintaining proper audit trail and documentation for future tax / internal / external audits and reviews

Your background

• Degree in CA/CMA/MBA/M com
• At least 2-9 year’s experience in budgeting, costing, forecasting Accounting and Finance with 2+ years of experience in FP&A is preferable
• Hands on experience in SAP FICO and COPA modules
• Basic Knowledge of Sales & Distribution, Production planning, Projects, Material master modules in SAP
• Experience with MS Office & strong analytical and problem solving skills
