Global Development Manager (flexible location)

The work model for the role is: hybrid ; #LI-Hybrid The role is contributing to the Motion System Drives Division globally. You will report to the Division Technology Manager, System Drives. You will be mainly accountable for: • Develop and implement strategies to foster a culture of continuous improvement in collaboration with product groups and global functions. • Lead the development and utilization of key processes and design tools within R&D and Product Engineering teams. • Guide R&D process and tool owners in achieving objectives and ensure progress aligns with strategic roadmaps. • Drive continuous improvement in project portfolio management by refining portfolio practices.
Qualifications for the role

• Minimum 10-15 years of work experience in the areas of R&D and Product Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Process Development and Continuous Development
• University degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering, Power Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or similar).
• Experience with portfolio planning tools (e.g. Planisware or other).
• Solid Project Management experience, good understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Good understanding of Budget & Performance Management, Strategy Implementation, Data Analysis and Reporting.
• Quality Assurance & Excellence knowledge is a plus.
• Efficiency-focused mindset, strong coordinating and influencing skills.
• Fluent English language skills.
