Global Process Owner Record to Report (R2R)

The primary role of the Record to Report (R2R) Global Process Owner is to oversee R2R end-to-end activities, drive overall governance of the process, design and implement related internal controls and lead the global process ownership team. This includes: Policy Setting, Process Documentation & Standards, Process performance and Process & Policy Compliance, and Continuous Improvement, Change and Strategy.
Your responsibilities
- Translates process vision and strategic direction from GBPO into clear policies, process standards and performance objectives as well as determining the systems and tools for the process
- Own design, policies and processes for the end-to-end process and approve any deviations from standard for Core / Common elements
- Design, define, implement, manage and monitor KPIs and internal controls for process to ensure process compliance, efficiency and effectiveness
- Lead and govern change control including evaluation and approval of initiatives/additions/amendments proposed
- Influence execution of non-core activity within managed process
- Serve as escalation point and support for issue resolution for respective process
- Governs process to ensure adherence to process documentation rules and SOPs
- Lead benchmark analysis and drive improvement projects that contribute to the strategic vision of the company. Drives the process improvement roadmap and CI agenda, translating strategic direction from GBPO into priorities and initiatives

Your background
- Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 15+ years proven experience in Business / Finance process role
- Critical Skills: SAP, CFIN, HFM, deep process knowledge in R2R – can bring best practice
- Experience in Finance process analysis and KPI/SLA setting
- Process measurement, modeling and governance.
- Shared Services, Internal Controls and/or BPO experience preferred
- Consolidation and public reporting experience in a large multinational technology company preferred
- Master Black Belt or similar process improvement experience a plus
- Ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment with dynamic changes in priorities
- Ability to work well with cross functional workstream teams
- Good analytical skills and adept at working with complex global business models
- Continuous improvement experience desired
