Global Procurement and Logistics Manager (PABA)

The work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite This role is contributing to the Process Automation business for BA Function Operation Centers and Quality division based in Bangalore, India. You will be mainly accountable for: • Contributing to the development and implementation of procurement standards, tools, and processes in the global organization. • Identifying, documenting, and communicating best practices using benchmarking, surveys, and case studies to establish frameworks and preferred business practices. • Facilitating the implementation of annual targets and scorecards, in collaboration with the global/division Procurement Managers for cost reduction, supplier quality, supplier delivery performance, including On-Time Delivery (OTD), etc. • Responsible for driving and executing the P&L Process for ABB units. In the pilot/new units, identify necessary (training) and sufficient criteria (process, tool support, interface, access, training, etc) for successful implementation of P&L Process. • Drive excellence by training colleagues on various techniques, travel and hands-on along with greater collaboration. • Supporting long-term planning and ensuring monthly tracking of results to encourage continuous improvement.
Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor's Degree or higher with Engineering background from an accredited institution
• A minimum of 10-15 years of SCM experience
• Familiar with various process techniques, SAP modules & tools, preferably with SAP, SAP Ariba, ABB Procure, PowerBI
• Knowledge on SAP with higher level of process understanding is must
• Sound knowledge of materials engineering, metal market rates, manufacturing processes, global labour rates & manufacturing burden rates & overheads at different locations will be an added advantage
• Knowledge of manufacturing production process (Transformers/Drives/Motors/PCBA, Plastic Inj. Moulding, Sheet Metal, Tooling, Castings, Forgings) will be an added advantage
