    Global Project Manager Rail & e-Mobility (80-100%)

    In this role, you will oversee various rail and e-Mobility customer projects within the ABB Traction Division in Turgi / Switzerland. Reporting to the Global Head of Project Management, you will maintain and enhance customer satisfaction by ensuring that all requirements and targets are met, providing excellent service at every stage of the project and actively contribute for ABB’s business success.

    Your responsibilities

    • Take on commercial project management responsibility for several engineered-to-order customer projects
    • Act as a trusted and reliable point of contact for our customers and other ABB Traction locations worldwide
    • Ensure an efficient and effective collaboration with all internal Stakeholders (Engineering, R&D, Production, Supply Chain, Service…)
    • Actively identify project risks and opportunities with regards to timing, costs, and contractual considerations, and initiate suitable countermeasures
    • Work on optimizing the general processing and use of resources, contribute to internal improvement projects, applying Lean Six Sigma methods
    • Perform Transfer of Production Projects within ABB Traction Division

    Your background

    • Knowledge about Drives and Converters Systems and technical affinity with railway or e-Mobility business
    • At least 5 years of experience in project management in an industrial preferably railway / e-mobility environment
    • A collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills
    • PMP or equivalent recognized PM certification
    • Professional level in English and German, other languages an asset
