As an Global Sales Operational Excellence Manager, you lead a team of administrators and specialists to handle and coordinate customer support processes in local sales units, from customer enquiry to product delivery to after-sales service, to realize a complete sales process and to meet and exceed customer expectations. You will be part of the growing Marketing & Sales Team which now consists of >15 employees. Your team members are based in different parts across the world, bringing a diverse set of cultures and skills. The team has a drive for collaboration, focus, responsibility and transparency.
Your responsibilities
- Ensures achievement of established targets, through oversight and definition of improvement actions as needed.
- Focuses on achievement of inventory turn on finished goods, requested on-time delivery and Net Promoter Score.
- Offers technical advice and provides comment on enquiry specifications for customers/channels/Sales Specialists with regard to ABB products/systems/applications.
- Provides technical support during the technical meeting, product
- presentations and negotiations.
- Prepares offers in coordination with the local sales unit and Global Sales Specialists.
- Develops and Implements global standards, rules, tools, policies and processes related to operations/project execution and shares functional best practices and lessons learned across the organization.
- Ensures budget (volumes) and profitable growth targets are achieved in the respective countries and for all assigned Product Groups
Your background
- You have a master degree, preferably in Sales, Marketing or Electrical engineering.
- 7+ years of experience in sales, working as a sales manager with experience in business development, account management and cross-selling and leading a team.
- An understanding of contract negotiations, risk management, and commercial and legal terms.
- Exceptional spoken and written communication skills, negotiating skills, a customer-focused mindset, and a professional, “can-do” attitude
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment; manage multiple demands on your time, in cross-functional, virtual and international teams
- Willingness to travel
