As a GMD Service Specialist, you will execute service work with low to medium complexity according to work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards and safety guidelines. You will be in close cooperation with customers and other ABB teams, acting as the technical point while delivering quality and satisfying customer service. In this role you will be responsible for providing routine maintenance and on-site or remote technical support.

Your responsibilities
- Execute services in the installed base of GMDs and drive systems: installation, commissioning, preventive and corrective maintenance, upgrades.
- Supervise technical personnel in charge in the execution of their tasks.
- Support the commercial team in the technical definition of proposals.
- Prepare and execute training courses for customers.
- Develop maintenance plans and define technical solutions.
Your background
- Bachelor´s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Electronics, Mechanical-Electrical or related.
- 5 years of experience in the position of service engineer, performing commissioning in the field ( must).
- Knowledge of low voltage equipment, safety in electrical work and control systems (must).
- Experience working in mining plants, GMDs and control systems.
- Knowledge of drives and power converters
- Availability to travel 80%
- Intermediate or Advanced English level.
