As a Hardware Engineer for Electrification Business Area in Xiamen, China, you will be responsible for finding cost effective solutions with high quality and implement hardware design for electronic devices for LV switchgear systems.

This position reports to

R&D Team Lead

Your responsibilities

• Creating product requirement spec and hardware design spec.
• Implementing hardware design for electronic devices for LV switchgear systems
• Defining test cases and write test program
• Setting up the test platform and environment based on test case defined
• Performing pre-tests and design verification on designed boards (Functionality test; EMC test; environmental testing)
• Ensuring verification of the FW with the related hardware
• Being responsible for documentation of test results

Your background

• Strong hardware development background, familiar with all aspects of the hardware development life cycle
• Familiarity with the related IEC standard is required
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication, presentation, writing and documentation skills
• Effective communication with cross culture
• Short term oversea travel is required
