    HR Operations Team Lead for Sweden, Norway and Denmark

    The key purpose of the Human Resources (HR) Operations team is to help ABB stand out when it comes to our people - from leadership, performance and talent management to rewards and career opportunity. In all that we do, we seek to create competitive advantage by dedicating resources to attracting, developing, and retaining talented individuals who are customer-focused, collaborative, innovative and driven. As a core member of HR operations function, you lead team of 14 HR specialists. You are delivering and organizing daily operations and team workload in a way that outstanding HR services and Customers Experience is provided to HR Business Partners, Managers and employees in Sweden, Norway and Denmark.

    This position reports to

    HR Operations Manager

    Your responsibilities

    • Ensuring prompt and accurate HR Services delivery in Employment Lifecycle, Payroll, Compensation & Performance, according to the defined Service Level Agreements and processes
    • Maintain excellent communication and effective working relationships with stakeholders and together with team of specialists driving the high-level Customer Experience and continues processes improvement
    • Lead internal controls and GDPR over HR transactions in collaboration with the HR Operations Manager, and ensuring a robust framework to enable compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements
    • Ensuring all HR processes incorporate proper control mechanism, including 4-eye-check / SOX checks, data protection and compliance tasks
    • Delivering HR transformation Program for Nordic countries on agreed timeline together with global project team, nominated team members and HR Business Partners
    • Sets targets and manages performance for direct reports
    • Proactively growing the capability of the team, encouraging open discussion of development needs for the team and individuals
    • Leading by example and living ABB’s core values, which means taking responsibility for own actions while caring for colleagues, and the business

    Your background

    • Solid leadership experience, preferably within international environment (in Human Resources or Shared Service Center)
    • Practical and solid knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
    • High degree of initiative-taking behavior and result orientation
    • Excel in positive energy, optimism and enthusiasm
    • Clear drive for results and demonstration of a real ‘can do’ mentality
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
    • Fluency in written and spoken Estonian and English language; Knowledge of Scandinavian language, preferred Swedish language
