you create strong buy-in and encourage colleagues to uphold best practices in safety and collaboration. You're the HSE Specialist in the broadest sense of the term. This means you're regularly on the production floor, ensuring all safety protocols are diligently followed. In short, you're the eyes and ears of HSE. Alongside this, you'll take on other vital tasks, such as supporting successful outcomes in various audits. In this multifaceted role, you'll be involved in theoretical, administrative, and operational activities. If there's a new legal requirement or a directive from headquarters, you take prompt action. You're also hands-on with essential reporting tasks, like compiling environmental reports. You'll take a strong, proactive approach in: • Driving behavior change among colleagues in health, safety, and environmental practices. • Implementing new legislation, policy updates, or regulations to ensure continuous compliance with certification standards. • Collaborating with other Dutch locations, international colleagues, and business partners to increase awareness around health, safety, and environmental issues. • Taking responsibility for audits and preparing statements, reports, and instructions. • Ensuring proper safety equipment and tools are in place. • Setting up and guiding circular economy initiatives.
