    As an Industrial Engineer for Motion Business Area in Shanghai, China, you will be responsible for working over ABB Group aligned systems and advanced industrial engineering tools to assist the operation function with product data and analysis to validate that products continue to meet operational and customer expectations throughout their lifecycle. Practicing APQP to assure effective introduction of new products.

    Your responsibilities

    • Representing the Voice of the Customer within local teams. Challenging the teams with customer experience feedback and input to decisions
    • Utilizing the local Quality Management System to provide the local teams with procedures and documentation that sufficiently describe their work activities. Inspire the local teams in the application of an operational approach and system of process management that is continually evaluated for effectiveness
    • Taking charge of process development and design during existing product lines and NPIs, set up production layouts and value streams within lean concept, and take this as a stepping-stone to seek the more optimized capacity performance
    • Being responsible for using industrial engineering tools such as MOD/VSM method to improve working mode and line balance and working efficiency and realize the cost reduction targets of manufacturing and process aspects.
    • Performing audits and uses quality data analytics from all parts of the operation to identify risks, failures and non-conformances within the local operations, its suppliers and customers. Assisting in the application of appropriate corrective and preventive action and manages solutions to closure.

    Your background

    • More than 1 year working experience
    • A BS/MS degree in Engineering background
    • AutoCAD and/or Solid Works, Office, etc.
    • Basic statistical analysis & illustrations ability
    • Strong motivation for business trip
    • High compression ability
    • Positive Attitude
    • Fluent oral and written English communication skills (At least CET-6)
