    Position summary

    and implement the strategy in the focus industries Power Generation and New Energies. The Measurement & Analytics business unit provides instrumentation solutions for the process industry, with a portfolio of the following innovative instrumentation solutions: Flow Measurement, Pressure Measurement, Temperature Measurement, Level Measurement, Electric Actuators & Positioners, Service and Digital Solutions.     Business Development Manager Instrumentation

    Your responsibilities

    • Implement global segment strategy and develop local growth plans
    • Realization of growth targets for the Power Generation & New Energies sector
    • Continuous monitoring of the sales pipeline (by sales region & field colleagues)
    • Active key account and target customer support for the industry together with the field sales force (joint customer visits virtual & on-site)
    • Participation in large project proposals in the area of Power Generation & New Energies
    • Industry presentation at regional customer seminars & in-house trade shows
    • Trustful cooperation with local sales and marketing

    Your background

    • Completed studies in mechanical engineering, electrical/automation engineering, industrial engineering, business administration or equivalent
    • Several years of experience in conventional power plants, power generation or in the field of new energies (hydrogen production, transport, storage, synthetic fuels)
    • Expertise in current industry trends, market dynamics, competitors and regulatory requirements
    • Entrepreneurial thinking and pursuit of innovative approaches
    • Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken
    • High level of analytical skills and creativity
    • Strong self-motivation and the ability to motivate and inspire others
    • Willingness to travel 25%-35% nationwide
