    Industry Sales Specialist (m/f/d) Food & Beverage

    In this challenging position, your main task is to implement and execute the local motion strategy in the agri-food and food industry (Food & Beverage). As the new job holder you will be responsible for the support and targeted processing and new development of OEM customers and system integrators. We rely on your knowledge of our drive technology and automation portfolio, as well as your expertise in applications in the food and beverage industry.     Head of Sales Motion Germany

    Your responsibilities

    • Clear focus on cold calling activities with focus on OEM customer development in the Food & Beverage industry sector
    • Identification, prioritization, support and development of existing customers and acquisition of new customers
    • Leading technical and commercial negotiations with customers
    • Technical consulting, product prequalification and training at OEM customers, system integrators and end customers
    • Preparation and evaluation of customer, market and competitive information for decisions with short and long-term planning horizon in coordination with local management
    • Cross-functional collaboration with the local sales unit for effective perception in the German Food & Beverage market, including transfer of expertise to the regional sales team
    • Meeting budget targets based on order intake and margins
    • Collaborate with other local divisions/business areas to increase sales volume
    • Organize, execute and participate in trade conferences, product presentations, regional trade shows, marketing activities

    Your background

    • You bring a clear view for the essentials, are strong in communication and assertiveness and hands-on oriented
    • You like to move on an industrial level and have no difficulties to build up a network there
    • Successfully completed technical studies - preferably in the field of electrical engineering or electrical drive technology
    • Several years ( ≥ 3 years) of professional experience in sales field service
    • In particular, very high affinity for cold calling and in the sale of products that require technical explanation
    • Ideally experience in consultative selling of frequency converters, motor and PLC products
    • Detailed product knowledge in the area of drive technology (Drives and Motors) and very good knowledge in the area of OEM sales would be an advantage
    • Experience in strategic development of customer relationships (KA) and responsibility for sales, margin and development of customer numbers
    • Experience in organizing trade fair appearances/customer events with product focus
    • Fluent in written and spoken German and English
    • Strong willingness to travel nationally
